(R.1) ist die erste Episode von Reflections on Glass; ein kollektives Happening, das aus mehreren verschiedenen Performances besteht, die alle durch dasselbe Bühnenkonzept und das selbe theatralische Skript verbunden sind. (R.1) ist eine Mischung aus digitaler Installation und Dauerperformance, bei der Projektionen, gesprochenes Wort, experimentelle Musik und physisches Theater eine Rolle spielen. Das Skript ist Glass, ein englischer Dialog zwischen drei Identitäten, die sich bemühen, den Grund ihrer Begegnung zu verstehen, ein Stück, das in unregelmäßigen Schritten zwischen Ironie, Selbsttäuschung und Offenbarung verläuft. Die Darsteller*innen spielen dieses Sprachspiel und werden gleichzeitig von ihm beeinflusst.
Reflections on Glass ist die Reflexion auf digitale, kollektive Spektakel, in der wir alle ganz bestimmte digitale Profile definieren, in dem wir einen standardisierten Kommunikationscode in einem standardisierten Ausdrucksraum verwenden.
(R.1) is a hybrid between digital installation and endurance performance where projections, spokenword, experimental music and physical theatre are all involved.
(R.1) is the first episode of Reflections on Glass; a collective happening made out of
several different performances, all connected by the same stage concept and by the sametheatrical script. The script is Glass, an english dialogue between three identities committed tounderstanding the reason for their meeting; a play which proceeds with irregular steps, betweenirony, self- deception and revelation. Performers are both acting this linguistic game and being acted upon by it.
Reflections on Glass is a reflection a reflection about digital collective events, where we alldefine very particular digital profiles using a standardized communication code within astandardized expressive space.
