Echo Between Species ist eine klangbasierte Performance, die menschliche und lautliche Ausdrucksformen von Meeressäugern miteinander verbindet. Basierend auf Forschungen zu Delfinen und Pottwalen erforscht sie Echolokation und akustische Identität als poetische Mittel und stellt die Kommunikation zwischen Arten in einem Ökosystem infrage, das zunehmend durch menschlichen Lärm gestört wird.
Echo Between Species is a sound-based performance blending human and marine mammal vocalizations. Drawing on research on dolphins and sperm whales, it explores echolocation and acoustic identity as poetic tools, questioning communication across species in an ecosystem increasingly disrupted by human noise.
