Hungary vs. EU is a solo theater performance written by Danny Maász. This piece uses
a football match as a framing device to talk about recent Hungarian political scandals.
It’s centered around two characters, who react to these scandals throughout the play.
The Supporter, who represents the working class Hungarians and The Announcer, who
portrays a struggling artist trying to fight against a corrupt system.This piece gives the
audience a deeper look inside Hungarian politics and how the current government is still
in power.
