The Perks of Being Dead is a solo theatre performance. The play is a sarcastic dark comedy that discusses abortion, teenage struggles and the trauma people experience after sexual assault. Diljá, the main character, hosts her own funeral and she brings the audience on a journey with her of her own life for the past 12 years. The play is an exploration of life and how our lives could have been very different if we had made some different choices.
